After
First, a neutral travertine tile in cool beiges and sandy waves was selected to anchor the new wine room. A stunning wallpaper in multiple shades of blues, greys and specks of sparkly gold was selected as the focal point of the space. The look of exquisite marble in the wallpaper inspired the rest of the room which featured pops of blues, mint and other jewelled tones. A rich cedar wood was chosen for the 300 – bottle racks which lined the rear wall of the cellarium while the lighting inside the cellarium was provided by pendants wrapped in a wavy silk organza fabric overlay that mimic the waves in the tiled floor and the movement in the wallpaper. A tempered glass enclosure with a heavy glass door help to keep the area controlled. Outside the wine cellarium, ample seating is provided. Saddle brown swivel barstools can either be used to view the interior of the wine cellar or turned to view the thinnest, barely noticeable television set installed opposite the glass-enclosed room. Four club – style textured blue upholstered chairs
provide seating for TV viewing or conversation. This seating area also boasts a gorgeous round
custom upholstered ottoman wrapped in a fun, contemporary mix of aqua, green, beige and brown on microfiber. A pub table in a dark walnut finish with buttery soft ivory leather barstools round off the seating in this area of the large basement. A sparkly tile glass backsplash in mint, white and silver tiles along with a stainless steel bar sink and polished nickel faucet finish off the wet bar area. Golf – themed accessories and other golf-related mementoes complete the overall fun feel of this wonderful entertaining space.
