An Open and Airy Kitchen

Before

The homeowner was downsizing. She wanted the kitchen to have an open and airy feel with pops of colour while using a neutral colour palate. She also needed space to retreat to for relaxing and reading.

After

We started by selecting a gray palate for the kitchen design with white and gray quartz countertops. A large white table with mid-century modern dining chairs were added to the eat-in area. A large oversized abstract art piece in bold pops of colour was placed on the back wall. Above the table, we used a beautiful hand-blown glass chandelier in a white colour to accent the table. A sofa with a chaise in a soft chenille fabric was chosen for the keeping area. An accent table was placed for drinks. The windows were treated in a sheer fabric to allow for an open and airy feel. Another hand-blown bubble chandelier finished the look.
