Our client wanted a bright, modern and inviting family room. She wanted ample seating for her large extended family. Also, she loves purple and wanted to incorporate the colour.

To provide the bright, elegant feel our client requested, we chose a colour palette of cream, purple, lemongrass yellow and soft blue. To maximize seating we chose two deep sofas for maximum comfort, two lounge chairs and two leather ottomans. A sculptured grey wool rug grounds the seating area. A leather top cocktail table squares the seating. Side tables and a marble accent table complete the look.
The window treatments take center stage. An embroidered cream linen with accents of blue, yellow and purple was chosen for the panels. Soft shading provides the required privacy. A pair of tall chrome lamps provide vertical balance, wow and task lighting.
