A Bright & Open Dining Room

Before

Our clients, a family with children and a large dog, had recently moved into a new home and wanted it to look “pretty”, yet practical for their family. They were currently making furniture from their previous home work, but wanted the open concept space to have a cohesive look and be relaxing. An upcoming high school graduation party was the inspiration for getting the space pulled together and looking fabulous.

After

As our client was not scared of colour we built the colour scheme around a signature piece of furniture – a turquoise dining room buffet. Artwork also incorporated the turquoise hues. Custom drapery was designed using a print fabric to flank the large windows and highlighted the clients already amazing view. Wallpaper in a metallic damask print was used to highlight the dining room wall and an oversize chrome mirror repeated the silver tones of the wallpaper. New upholstered dining room seating was also added.
