Project Overview:

This bathroom was dark and lacked proper storage and function. It was certainly not the relaxing haven the clients desired. From the small vanity to the dated tub and shower, this bathroom needed an overhaul to create something bright and beautiful for our client.

Design Solution:

This master bathroom was inspired by the beautiful piece of ironwork that was hanging above their underused corner tub. These clients wanted an upscale country look and that is just what was achieved! The space was unified by adding white painted shiplap over all the walls. This made the space feel larger and provided the perfect backdrop for the show-stopping black freestanding tub. Functionality was enhanced with the installation of a rustic vanity that has many drawers for increased storage. The same marble-inspired porcelain tile was used on the floor and in the corner shower to create an open airy feel. Last, but not least, the lighting was augmented with pot lights and sconces which created a very inviting space at all times of the day.

What our client said:

As I was getting ready in the bathroom this morning, I was thinking about how much I love it. It’s so clean, calming and timeless… It’s so strange that you shared your good news about our bathroom winning a design award with us today. Congratulations on the award! You absolutely deserve it. You are a very talented designer. It was such a pleasure to work with you and Erik. We have shared your name and coordinates with friends and will continue to do so.
