A Unique & Fun Bedroom

Before

The best part of this project was that the client’s townhome was an empty canvas as she was not bringing any of her previous furniture and only a few pieces of artwork. After our first in-person meeting and we selected everything for the first phase of the project, she decided to include the master bedroom, master bathroom and guest bedroom.

This is a smaller room that the client wanted to keep casual and comfortable, but unique, and functional for sleeping.

After

For this room, we selected a violet colour with a grey undertone for the wall colour. To make this room fun and playful, we chose bedding with an array of bright and cheerful colours, while keeping it clean-lined and modern with an iron bed. With this contrast, the bedding catches the viewer’s eye as soon as they walk into the room. We utilized case goods with a soft cream/taupe finish and added lamps with a simple marble base. The window treatment fabrics are in a cream embroidery that is both modern and classic. We finish the room off with a soft, African JuJu hat above the bed.
