This was Decorating Den Interior’s 37th Annual International Dream Room Awards Contest. Nearly 300 entries were judged by over 30 top home furnishing editors and designers in addition to a public voting segment. This year’s Awards Gala was held via a special international video conference that replaced the company’s normal annual conference, that could not be held this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. There were more than 200 participating online.
Our very own Catherine Pulcine, is no stranger to the International Dream Room Competition. Not only has she entered over 30 rooms, but has won quite a few! This year, Catherine entered a stunning space in the Bathroom Category, and brought home a 2nd Place prize!
After a devastating fire, this entire ensuite had to be re-done. The client’s wanted a larger shower, a free standing tub and a water closet. An elegant, farmhouse look was their desire. Beadboard introduced on the walls and cabinets enhanced the farmhouse look along with the country blue and matching tub. The tub was the inspiration for the wall colour. The large walk-in shower has a rain shower for the fold down teak seat. The marble floors add elegance. A water closet was achieved by the vanity.
