This client had approached us with the hope of a new, bright and inviting dining room. The original dining room had a dark and cramped feel, contributing to an outdated appearance that was in desperate need of revitalization.
Design Solution:
The dining room underwent a stunning transformation with fresh paint and a navy blue grasscloth wallpaper accent wall, instantly breathing new life into the space. To enhance the transitional aesthetic, we incorporated mixed woods to tie the dining area together, allowing for additional seating ideal for entertaining.
Comfortable upholstered dining chairs were selected, featuring performance fabrics for easy maintenance. The new longer sideboard provided ample storage, with an open top adorned with a textured sea grass mirror and hand-painted glazed lamps, adding a touch of elegance to the room. The stone top of the credenza offered practicality, allowing for the placement of hot dishes with ease.
A fresh and crisp area rug was chosen to tie in with the colour scheme, while linen drapery added a touch of sophistication. Custom accent pillows on the dining armchairs flanking the credenza added the perfect finishing touch to the space, enhancing its overall charm and comfort.
