Project Overview:

This bedroom needed some attention as it was a catch-all for furniture for quite some time. These clients hadn’t had the time to personalize the room and make it feel like a calm and welcoming place to be after a long day. We were ready to add some personal touches to this space and turn it into the retreat that our clients deserved!

Design Solution:

By asking our client lots of questions, we concluded that they wanted a place to call their own and relax in the evening. We selected a beautiful upholstered king-sized bed and two large nightstands with storage to create a focal point. A large traditional rug with pink tones adds softness and colour to the otherwise neutral room. A bench at the end of the bed is the perfect height for their small dog to use as a step to join them in bed. The window treatments were updated with the use of stationery side panels and functioning blinds. We added storage with a built-in closet solution across from the bed that also contains their television for late-night viewing. Everything combined made for a lovely retreat.

What Our Client Said:

Natalie was able to ask questions and focus on the minor details in things that she noticed that were somehow repeated in our spaces. Her attention to detail is impeccable. For a large project, we were paralyzed with the options and didn’t know where to start. Natalie dove in and took the assignment of making all of the decisions based on what she observed from our meetings and presented them in a logical and thoughtful way taking into account our lifestyle, our stage in life and longevity we would be occupying the space.
