Project Overview:

These clients came to us with the need for a larger mudroom, a place to do homework, play board games and hang out. They wanted to ensure that the finishes and furniture blended with the rest of their beautiful house but didn’t know where to start.

Design Solution:

These clients love collecting antiques and have a modern farmhouse vibe in their home. We continued that feel by incorporating a rustic but modern, reclaimed wood table and bench. The chairs were from the client’s grandmother’s home and they were freshened up with paint and new fabric. The warm brown porcelain tile was laid in a cobblestone pattern bringing the outdoors in.

A cozy textured wicker chair was added for a nice place to read and have a cup of coffee. Last, but not least, a custom bench and hooks were added to one wall to serve as a drop zone for their three kids.

They adore their new space and they tell us that it’s always in use!

What our client said:

My husband and I hired Natalie to help us finalize our plans for a sunroom addition. We were impressed from the very beginning with her professionalism, her great ideas and her open-mindedness. While working with Natalie, we really felt that she understood us. She helped us validate our ideas and guided us into decision-making. She was also willing to work with the furniture we already had and made great suggestions to complete the look we were going for. We have already recommended Natalie to our friends. Whether you need guidance, validation, someone to help with furniture layout or someone with great resources, Natalie and her team will impress you. We will not hesitate to call her again for future projects.
