Project Overview:

This client wanted some functional storage as well as desk space for the occasional work at home day. This small space needed to have thoughtful furniture placement to maximize every inch. We wanted to create a cozy bedroom that allowed our client to unwind and relax after a busy day.

Design Solution:

The first step was to find a queen sized bed with a small footprint. This upholstered platform bed was a great match. Storage was maximized by placing full-sized nightstands on either side of the bed. The dark blue/grey on the wall behind the bed is repeated in the bedding, enveloping the room in coziness. Across from the bed wall, we placed a tall dresser, making space for a decent-sized desk. Adding an area rug adds softness to the room, creating a wonderful place to recharge.
