Project Overview:

After crafting their own vision for several months, these clients believed they had formulated the perfect kitchen design. However, upon reviewing their plans, it became apparent that certain elements were not feasible. The proposed appliance placements were impractical, and the functionality of the island was questionable. With a focus on honouring their individual styles and preferences, we collaborated to develop a revised plan that exceeded their expectations.

Design Solution:

The client’s existing kitchen was small and cramped, so we removed the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, allowing us to expand the kitchen and make for an expansive island. The client desired a clean, contemporary style and the handle-free cabinets offer a visually unobtrusive look. The island has space for six people to sit and the stools are adjustable in height so everyone can comfortably sit at the island.
