Project Overview:

After years of dreaming about a renovation and new furniture, our clients were finally ready for a fresh start, and we were thrilled to make it happen. After years of dreaming about a renovation and new furniture, our clients were finally ready for a fresh start, and we were thrilled to make it happen. The house was in serious need of a makeover, starting with the kitchen. It was cramped, lacked storage, and wasn’t the kind of space you’d want to entertain in. Our clients were after a casual, colorful, coastal vibe, and we were ready to bring that vision to life.

Design Solution:

First things first, we needed to figure out the layout. By knocking down the wall between the underused sitting room and the kitchen, we created the perfect space for our client’s dream kitchen. The large Hale Navy island, paired with a stunning quartz countertop that mimics river stone, really ties the room together. A custom walnut dining table and chairs make for a perfect spot for casual meals. With its watercolour-toned herringbone backsplash, this kitchen has truly become the heart of the home.

The main sitting area, in particular, needed a total overhaul. To open things up, we moved the wall that separated the living and dining room enabling us to center the fireplace. We chose a new stone surround, which added instant charm and texture, tying together all the colors throughout the home. This created the perfect backdrop for a conversation area with all new furniture including custom drapery. To top it off, we replaced the flooring, trim and windows throughout the entire house, giving everything a fresh, new look.

From top to bottom, this home went through a complete transformation. It was such a joy to help our clients create the space they’d been dreaming of. Now, it’s not just a house—it’s a home that’s stylish, functional, and full of personality.
