A SHOW STOPPING MASTER BATH

This master bathroom was inspired by a beautiful piece of ironwork they loved. I unified the space by adding white painted shiplap over all the walls. This made the space feel larger and provided the perfect backdrop for the show-stopping black freestanding tub.

A dated ensuite bathroom is transformed into a light-filled space. Solid walnut custom cabinetry adds warmth and storage. A freestanding tub and glass shower with snow white quartz countertops and beautiful light reflecting wall sconces create a complete spa-like atmosphere.

A FRESH AND FUNCTIONAL SPACE

The client’s bathroom was dated and contained a lot of wasted space. The client craved a space that was easy to clean, provided more storage, and was a peaceful retreat. Placing a large tile in a horizontal pattern tricks the eye into thinking that the room is wider than it actually is. The same tile was used on the floor, as well as a soft beige wall colour to minimize contrast, allowing the eyes to sweep over the room. The bold art above the tub gives the space some personality!

A SIMPLE YET SOPHISTICATED SPACE

This master bathroom was a long and narrow space with a large tub, although the client wanted a shower instead. Overall, the client wanted to keep the space open but simple with the tile. The challenge with adding the shower was that the door from the master bedroom opened into the room by the tub. The client wanted a neutral colour palette of grays with an accent of blue-violet. There were several areas of the master bathroom that were changed, but as this was a townhome and it would eventually be rented again, the budget was kept conservative.

A CLEAN AND SPACIOUS BATHROOM

This was a well-sized master bathroom that did not make the best use of its space. The large, triangular-shaped soaking tub used too much water and was uncomfortable. There was also a half wall between the toilet and the tub that cut off the room. The shower frame had unattractive supports.

AN AMPLE SIZED MASTER BATHROOM

This early 1990’s master bathroom was in much need of a makeover. The carpeting, wall to wall jetted tub, small shower, outdated tile and fixtures all had to go! A full renovation was in order; the clients wanted an updated vanity with solid surface top, heated tile floors, a nice large shower with a bench, new fixtures, a new tub, and so on. The look they desired was classic and somewhat traditional. The clients also loved the look of carrara marble and still desired a tub. Upscale finishes and a fresh pleasing look would do the trick.

A NEUTRAL & CALMING BATHROOM

This master bath in this vacation home needed a major overhaul. It was gutted and the project was started from scratch. The overall feel of the space is crisp and clean – we wanted to keep a fresh lake vibe in this lake home. Easy maintenance quartz was used for the countertops and classic white subway tile, with an accent tile in the niche, completed the look.

A WARM AND RUSTIC TEEN BATHROOM

The goal for this space was to create a bathroom that would grow with a pre-teen boy and have a major coolness factor. His mom and grandfather built the vanity, and that was the starting point for the whole design of the room. Casual yet urban was the goal. Unique subway tile, sink and lighting created the whole vibe we wanted.

A BOLD & ELEGANT GUEST BATHROOM

When these long term clients made the decision to make the move into new accommodations and sell their home they asked us to work with them again and create a space that was truly them. While they loved the prospect of the new space, there were things that were not to their taste. The bathroom was typical and ordinary with laminate counters, basic lighting and a white tub surround that was the first thing seen from the main living area.

A MODERN & LUXURIOUS BATHROOM

The traditional, dated, master bath was completely re-designed with not only a more efficient layout but also a new, transitional, sleek look. The new freestanding, contemporary tub, the wall-mounted electric fireplace, and the soft gray and white palette creates a modern spa-like retreat.

A CALM AND EARTHY BATHROOM

This Master Bathroom is transitional but with a touch of modern. The geometric and pebble accent tiles add to the visual interest in the room. The custom brown with ebony glaze cabinets are rich and complementary to the warm grey colour scheme of the tile. The large crystal chandelier adds elegance and sparkle to this gorgeous master bathroom.

This beautiful home on the lake just needed a freshening up. This spacious bathroom was redesigned using marble tile as the focal point, on the floor as well as the shower. The glass block was replaced with clear glass panels to open up the shower, and a modern soaker tub replaced the large jetted tub. Quartz countertops were added to the new vanity and nickel sconces framed the mirrors nicely. A sweet crystal chandelier was installed above the tub for an elegant look.
