Project Overview:

This dark and dated bathroom was in desperate need of a refresh. These clients needed a space that had some personality and functional storage for everyday living. After years of feeling stuck with their bathroom, they were finally ready to take their space to a new level.

Design Solution:

We wanted to create a warm, fresh, and relaxing retreat for these clients. Making way for a large shower was a high priority, so we stole some space from the walk-in closet to give us the space we needed. We added a free-standing tub to create a serene place to unwind. By designing a custom vanity, we were able to add additional drawers creating functional storage. The calming natural tones of this space created the soothing atmosphere that these clients desired.

What our client said:

We had been wanting to do a makeover of our master bathroom and bedroom for a long time and hired Natalie after reading her blog posts and Instagram highlights. We wanted a local designer who could help us source products and take the pressure off the design choices.

Natalie knew we had a window of 5 weeks when we would be away and paired us with an amazing general contractor who was available to start during that time. She and her assistant acted as our spokesperson during those weeks and therefore took all of the pressure off us to be available to deal with the things that would pop up during the demolition and the practical spatial issues during the initial phases of work.

We took a hands-off approach (even upon our return) which was exactly what we were looking for and we were 100% happy with our outcome! We had a detailed timeline that was surprisingly met. The renovation process was completely stress-free for us as we knew we were in great.

We would absolutely recommend Natalie to friends and neighbours.
