Project Overview:

With the living room open to both the dining room and entryway, our main focus was on creating a layout that optimized traffic flow and provided ample seating for eight people. Our clients were hoping to breathe some life into the space with the use of colour.

Design Solution:

We successfully transformed the living room into a comfortable, child- and pet-friendly space, perfect for family gatherings. By incorporating colours that the homeowners loved but were unsure how to use, we turned this living room into their favourite spot to hang out with the family. The thoughtful design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ensures a smooth traffic flow, catering to the needs of the entire family.

What our client said:

We enjoyed the experience of working with Marina to reimagine and renovate our living room. Marina’s holistic concepts and design ideas set us in a strong direction. We appreciated Marina’s ability to listen and to reflect our ideas in the plan. Marina’s bold colour plan made the design particularly interesting and appealing. The quality of the work produced by the subcontractors that Marina employed was excellent. There was clear communication on scheduling or plan alterations during the construction process. We were very pleased with the final result. We appreciated Marina’s final touches with complimentary artwork and organization.
