Project Overview:

This newly widowed client was downsizing from a large country home to a 3 bedroom condo in an urban area. She wanted her new home to be a feminine restful retreat filled with all of her favourite things. Her beautiful art and pottery were great jumping-off points and inspired the colour palette.

Design Solution:

The colour palette was inspired by this client’s beautiful collection of blue and white pottery. Comfort was a priority so we selected a sofa with down-wrapped cushions for ultimate coziness and performance fabric for added durability. The side chairs are generous in size, however, the open woodwork keeps them feeling light. Blue drapery adds softness and colour to the neutral walls. Mounting the drapery at the ceiling and over the patio doors makes the ceiling appear taller than it is. The result is an elegant and functional living room for watching television, reading and entertaining.

What our client said:
Natalie was instrumental in making the design process easier for me by ensuring the selection of colours, drapery, furniture and lighting worked well together and reflected my personal style. Her passion for her work was evident throughout. She provided excellent service and follow-up and it has been my pleasure to work with her.  I would highly recommend her interior decorating services.
