A Natural & Bright Master Bathroom

Before

The client wanted to have a full master suite, incorporating the existing master bedroom, divided ensuite bath and small walk in closet. The ensuite bath had a small shower unit, a tub alcove and small vanity. The walk in closet was small and poorly organized. To achieve the new space, there was wall to remove between a secondary bedroom and the ensuite that had plumbing vents that had to remain. Insulation was lacking and was completely replaced with walls and ceiling fully removed during renovation.

After

To create the larger and bright ensuite, all the walls and ceiling were removed. New insulation of the whole space was done and infloor heating was installed. The original walk in closet provided space for the large glass enclosed shower unit with pivoting door. Open and spacious with attractive tiles. Separate vanities create his and her spaces. The opening of the secondary bedroom made way for a fabulous walk in closet. The issue of the plumbing vents was alleviated with the placement of a shelving and laundry hamper unit giving way to a private toilet area. Soft tones of grey, with whites and walnut enhances the natural lighting and pot lights with wall sconces creating an intimate and warm space.
